Distilled in 1991 and matured for 29 years in a single bourbon hogshead, this exceptional expression was bottled in February 2021 to commemorate the retirement of Alan Murray, former owner of the Cadenhead’s Edinburgh whisky shop. Just 132 bottles were released.
Produced at Strathmill Distillery, this long-aged single cask highlights the distillery’s light and fruity character. Bourbon cask maturation enhances the whisky with layers of vanilla, citrus, orchard fruits, and gentle spice, resulting in a smooth and elegant profile developed over nearly three decades.
